I haven't ever given an entirely positive review though my contribution to this month's Webcomics Examiner is as close as I've ever come.

My art is a work in progress really. I have been trying to get away from "CUTE" for many years. But I find a natural instinct to make everything cute and fuzzy. EJ was originally meant to be a way for me to practice making a darker more adult oriented strip. You can see Examples of my usual cuteness in the Comic Strips ADONIS, and AOZORA.  
 
I am trying to hone my art and Kevin is attempting to perfect his writing skills.  
 
I am so honored and happy that you have taken the time to dedicate a strip in honor of our comic.  
 
with time and practice I hope EJ will become better and perhaps more popular.

Heck, I'm pretty sure you guys are ahead of HB in at least a couple of those top lists. Keep making comics and they'll come or at least that's what I'm hoping.
