Monday - December 27, 2004:

Will 2005 bring a clash with the syndicates. it's brewing. Sure, HB and Broom Hilda together under any circumstances is out there, but I wager the newspaper forays of some of the best on the web that sprang up at the end of 2004 will explode in 2005. This soup of creativity is about to spill over. I'm not so excited about the whole affair though. The comics I want to create are designed specifically NOT to fit into the newspaper model. Also, I'm thinking about taking a few steps away from the webcomic world for a while. I've been neglecting some pretty important projects and while I hope to keep up with More Fun and HB, I'll be stepping away from my reviewing duties and any pretension of having my finger on the pulse of the webcomic world.

One of those neglected projects is the Journey Into History comic, but I'll be shopping it around for print with just the occasional page and preview in this space so stay tuned.

I doubt there'd be a clash with the syndicates, mostly because there's nothing to clash over... and if there is, we'll be on the losing end because they have something the webcomics world doesn't: And assload of money.
