August 7, 2008: I've been reading Mineshaft for a while now. It's a strong zine, publishing Crumb Dietch, Lynch, Stack, Fleener, Armstrong. I even went back a purchased some early issues. A couple of years ago, they published an Economist magazine cover Crumb copied. The Economist is the only magazine I regularly read so I figured I'd copy a pic or two. The shine was just coming off Sarkozy that week. Evidently, caricature is not my strong suit, not with a brush anyway.
