Early update because I'm out of town Sunday, with a midterm to boot.  So busy!

That orange grove is deliberatly shitty. Depressing Dan failed at orange trees. Poor Dan.

 

If you dislike the inking style, I'm revealing now that because the way the story is structured it is tenatively set to change each chapter.  It makes doing the comic more fun for me. This was done with a bamboo brush.
