Hapax legomenon is a term for a word that only occurs only once in a given body of work. I had no real reason for using it as a name; I just liked the way it sounded. As I've said before, the Victorian story was pretty much made up as I went along.

So It Begins (soitbegins) says: Do not burn?!
Leon Arnott (l) says: But, of course, the real reason you used that term is so that people would think you quite clever and learned after they discover what it actually means. That is, after all, the only reason anyone would put Greek phrases and Shakespeare references in a webcomic!
