Smithson Thus Far... ·

This is one of the longest installments of the Victorian storyline. I really liked drawing Dr. Pim and developing his alien mad-science backstory. He's one of my favorite side characters in Narbonic.

The Story About Ping is a classic children's book about a Chinese duck, but it's not really relevant to this story. I had several readers who thought I was making a reference to a computer programming manual called The Story of Ping, though.

Leon Arnott (l) says: What is that unusual frilly thing affixed to the converse of Helen's hat?
So It Begins (soitbegins) says: A plume.

Also: ...."Do Not Burn"?
Scott R (nekura) says:

Edification always sounds like it means "To make edible" to me.

fluffy <3 (fluffy) says: "The Story of Ping" is not a computer programming manual. It is that same children's book, which a bunch of snarky folks decided to review on Amazon as if it were a network engineering guide.
