Should I have used "twilight sleep" instead of "anesthesia"? Nah, too confusing. It's best this way.

It's never been entirely clear to me whether Miss Narbon was correctly interpreting Mr. Davenport's muffled noises, or if she's just imposing her own assumptions on what he's trying to say.

That's a really great underline in the last panel.
