Jane Narbon on the Secret Island, the Rebels on Mars (continued), and Antivirus SoItBegins: The One Terrible Secret.
Furthermore:
Jane Narbon and the Robots of Mars, the Benevolent Man Makes Peace, and the Tale of the Martians, Continued. Also: Antivirus SoItBegins: The Gateway and the Castle.
Jane Narbon (lady_madsci) says:
Why call Maintenance? They're already here.
Ed Gedeon (eddurd) says:
At this point, when "Them" appears (how's THAT for horrendible grammar?), it's time to call Unity. And tell her to bring the *good* ammo.
John Vertical (tropylium) says:
Mmm, looks more like giant bees to me… Assuming we're still anywhere near the usual confines of Kingdom Animalia, which is by now looking increasingly improbable.
Basil Jelly (basil_jelly) says:
We've had Giant Rats, adorable baby cobras and all manner of things but we have finally gotten to a fabulous beast. A Maintenence man who is conscientious!
Incog Neato (ghede) says:
Crystals. Hmm. Aliens would be too silly. Robots and Bees have already been done. Sentient rocks? Golems? Irradiated new-age hippies?
Wallace Good (good_the_third) says:
It just needs a hologram of Marlon Brando's head intoning: "And the Son becomes the Father, as the Rat becomes the Tip." Which possibly makes more sense than the original.
Proper procedure is now clear. Free the maintainence dept. and give them a work order.
Aaron Shades (prof_tinker) says:
So, am i the only one who thinks that the tubes just could NOT have been built for *humans* I mean, seriously. I guess if your building containment tubes than you don't care too much about comfort, but still.
Has there been a problem with WebComicsNation? I couldn't view any of the WCN comics all Friday, until about 11pm Saturday night.
Of course, no one will ever read this, waiting until Sunday to check the next comic. Or unless some future new reader plows through the archives. Which means I am free to say whatever I want. Heh heh heh.
Now if I hadn't been working in the yard all day, been drawing all afternoon, and just gone grocery shopping with my wife, I could think of something clever. Um ... Summer's parents almost named her "Dinah". There, minor spoiler. Make of it what you will.
Given the lack of comments and my own difficulties, I would agree that something is wonky in the state of Webcomics Nation. Perhaps someday I will learn how
"God?" all by itself constitutes a full-fledged reference to Madonna?
Ed & Wallace: I've mostly been getting that in the mornings this week -- Firefox can't connect to the site at all. Yeah, something is indeed wonky at WCN!
And this comes after the problems with the Nice forums, where people have been jumping ship, specifically because they didn't respond to a broken registration system....
Maybe when Tip gets out of this fix, Sarge can send him after the webmasters!
