I can't help but wonder if anyone else has this phenomenon occur in daily life: You're plodding along with a project and everything seems to be going well until you hit a snag. You try and try and try to fix it-- and you get passable results, but your brain won't accept anything below perfection. You shove the problem onto the back burner in hopes of coming back to it later when you're more into the swing of things. Time slides past like jello on a greased cookie sheet and you realize that you've just wasted X amount of time (usually measured in weeks, months, or even years) waiting for that "swing" to come back.
I've got a LOT of unfinished projects that are collecting dust. The comic shouldn't be one of them.
