Celia belongs to that class who traditionally worked as house servants to the stronger, more able Atlasians. Like all natives of Atlas, their ancestors were transported to the planet in 2119, but for whatever reason, their powers were taxed to the limit by conditions on Atlas.

Because of the harsh living conditions in the early years, these people fell into a servant role, for protection and sustenance. Celia's family became attached to the star clans and Celia herself has been working for the Antares family most of her life.

Though she was not happy to be sent off to Ad Astra, to look after mistress Ardath, Celia received a pleasant surprise when she left her homeworld for the first time.

It was only when she left Atlas and its oppressive gravity that her power asserted itself, allowing her to fly at unprecedented speeds. Celia is able to harness and ride the tachyon "starwinds" to exceed the speed of light. She is, to anyone's knowledge, the only human living who can. Back to the Cast Page
