Synree's powers to manipulate fire set her apart from other seereesti, her wings are typical of her species.

The seereesti are among the most "human" of the exotic races, though their biochemistry is somewhat different from ours. Seereesti bones are hollow, like terrestrial birds and contain trace elements and reinforcing structures that make them almost as strong as normal human bones. Seereest has a gravity approximately 1/3 that of Earth and when travelling offworld, seereesti wear atmosfield belts to counteract the effects of other planets' gravity, which is usually higher than Seereest's.

Synree is able to manipulate any flame she can see and keep it burning even if the original fuel source is exhausted. She can shape the flame and project it, but she cannot generate flame herself. Synree's flying skills are typical of her race, though she does practice "combat flying" more than the average seereesti.
