Artus is the equivalent of 14 Earth-years old and has just come of age to wear the armor and bear the arms of the Knight of the Silver Star.

The Knights wear a simplified version of Centurion's armor. Centurion is the hero from the 22nd century who stumbled upon Thule almost 200 years after the so-called "exile event". A combination of advanced medical technology and periodic stasis accounted for his extreme longevity, but by the time he'd arrived at Thule, his ship had been pushed to its limits and it was all he could do to land it. Using technology from the ship, Centurion created the first paladin armor, with the help of the Magus Maximus, powered suits capable of tapping the ambient energies of Thule. These suits augment the strength, speed and endurance of the knight, and provide adequate protection from the elements to keep the knights active even in the deepest cold of winter.
