I have nothing but the greatest respect and admiration for Curt Swan, the original artist on this piece. As a Legion fan, once I started doing pieces like this, it was inevitable that I'd have to do this cover.

I did this one for me. This was the first Legion story I ever read.

I've long been a fan of Hawkman and I've been wanting to do a model of that old Silver Age police cruiser. Of course, the motto is much more appropriate for the later versions of Thanagar.
