So I went ice skating with some friends last weekend. It was the first time I've been for something like 8 or 9 years. Suffice to say, I was not very good. Spent a lot of time clinging onto the side at first, knees shaking, dreading the moment I'd have to try and take the plunge again.
Eventually I got my confidence back and remembered how it's done and my skills were elevated to the level of "not atrocious" by the end of the session. Hopefully going again in a couple weeks. Don't want to forget again now do I?
