Powered was born when i decided i'd try and create my own super-kid comic based on the same formula for Year One.

I also thought i'd use newspaper strip proportions in the hope that i'd be able to send it off to one of them syndicate thingies and get it accepted. Hey the odds werent that bad, 1 in 10,000 is pretty good right?

Anyway - interestingly i STILL havent sent it yet but WILL have to get around to it cos after i uploaded these i was actually still pleased with what i had done.

I produced these strips within about 3 or 4 weeks on top of donig Year One daily and I was pretty sick of them at that stage. But looking at them with fresh eyes, I rather like them.

I may come back to this strip in the future but i'm already using a couple of these characters in the new strip i'm working on with Mr Jess Harrold called (tentatively) "Cape Camp". See if you can spot who. think you'll be pleasantly suprised.*
