Tuesdays and Thursdays
Nick says:Aaaaand scene.

Yup, that's the 150th instalment of The Space-Time Machine right there. And (big announcement time) it is very probably the last Space-Time Machine strip ever! It's time for Tim and Herb to take a bow. But don't worry, I think it's safe to say that I'm not ready to hang up my pencil just yet. I'm going to spend the next month or so having a think about what I'd like to draw next, and when I've made some choices I'll be sure to let you all know. To keep you all compulsively checking this page, on Tuesday and Thursday for the next four weeks I'll be posting up my 2009 Comikaze 24hr Comic Challenge entry, Something Long. I hope you'll stick (heh!) around and follow whatever it is that comes next.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for reading. The stats page on webcomicsnation broke a long time ago, so I've got no idea how many of you are still with me, but I want you to know that I love you all. I hope you've enjoyed reading it as much as I have enjoyed drawing it.

This is starting to feel like the acknowledgements page on my thesis, but what the hey. There are five people in particular without whom The Space-Time Machine would have got stranded in the 80s long ago, so I'd like to mention them by name: Jen (read her film reviews!), Trev (check out the awesome comic he makes with Jen!), Jake, Adrian (look on the Space-Time Machine mug he made me with envy!) and Pete. You guys are awesome.

Don't forget: next Tuesday is page 1 of Something Long, which bears the subtitle "The 43rd Glorious War For Independence Waged Against The Dastardly Mulberanians By The Glorious Royal Gravonvillian Combined Armed Forces".

Creators (sockpuppetcomics) says: Oh! Also: Oh! 150 strips! That's awesome! No more Tim and Herb? That's far FAR less awesome. Come back soon, Nick, don't leave us waiting for too long...
Nick Bate (nickb) says:

Aww, thanks! It is a bit sad to see Tim and Herb go, but hopefully the next thing (whatever it is -- any suggestions?!) will be just as much fun.

Or wait... what if it's *more* fun?

Oh God, the pressure!

Peter Sinkis (lothdyn) says:

I too will miss the antics of Tim, Herb and Coffee Shop Girl.  So many mysteries left unanswered... Who was Robobutler? Where did he learn to make cucumber sandwiches?

So for further ideas - want to advance the Corridor plotline in stickfigure and sci-fi comic form.  You can have witty banter ...
