SpiritPainter, an ordained minister and former syndicated political cartoonist, is the creator of the metaphysical comic strip Sacred Cows. He and his wife are ordained faithkeepers, whose work is intertribal and intercultural. They lead Sacred Talking Circles, are head dancers and Drum at Powwows and Native gatherings. Their third CD of all original Cherokee songs and Native drum music, "ITSULA" was nominated in the Best Traditional Drum Category at the 2006 Indian Summer Music Awards (Available at CD Baby: http://cdbaby.com/cd/cwd).
