Tom Pappalardo (aka Standard Design) is the author of Failure, Incompetence (self-published, 2005) and Through the Wood, Beneath the Moon (Caliber Comics, 1998, drawn by Matt Smith). He is a collaborator on Famous Fighters (self-published, 2006, also with Matt), Even Lions Will Fear You (a 2009 self-published collection of his comic strip Whiskey! Tango! Fotxtrot!), and is still working on his long-simmering graphic novel project, Broken Lines.
