Red Room

If you haven't noticed, I have more fun making rooms for BJDs than making clothes.

It sits on top of Ty's cabinet. It's for whichever doll I get. :) There's a clothesrack, a low couch, a pot of flowers on a round shelf, quite a few cubbies, jars of accessories, a metal trashbin, Dollmore monkey shoes, a pile of videogames, a large mirror, a decorative bin, and a raised bed. There are a lot of random knicknacks hanging arond on the clothes rack.

Three cellphones and two hairclips on the decorative bin. There's a family vase with white roses on it from Elliott's room. Elliott's frog is hiding out in the trashcan.

The low couch. We were going to sew an actual cushion with this fabric, but decided not to. You can see the lone Tamama and a blue DS. The oversized cup holds a bunch of random papers.

Another view!

The cubbies that hold the bed. You can see the mirror pretty well here.

Geroro invasion on the bed! My doll (probably Bart...) has a red GBA. The other game systems are Elliott's. I put two red hairclips on the edge of the bed because it looked too empty. There's no pillow yet.

Elliott on the couch! The couch looks small here, but it's long enough for two MSDs to sit together. Elliott is grumpy and I hate that. :( He's also not my doll. So.

Elliott leaning on a cubby because I can't leave him standing without freaking out. He's good at leaning and sitting.

Next to his videogames. It's so strange. They're the perfect size... but in this picture, they look small. Huh.

Zoomed out a bit so you can see his reflection in the mirror.

Here he is standing next to the bed so you can see how high we put it up. It's at a height so that the other doll can talk to standing Elliott easily. :D Hahahaha yeeeeeah...

Sitting on the bed! The bed is almost the perfect length. It's too short by about two cm, but it's really not that big of a deal.

Elliott leaning against the decorative bin. The red cellphone is kind of big. The grey and black ones are perfect size. If Ty ever gets an SD, s/he can have one of the cellphones I have since most of them are too big.

Detail of the video games, the robot, and the one CD case. It's from Family Mart and is metal.

Kind of redundant, but this picture came out nice. I hate his long his wig is. It's pretty annoying. I didn't notice the hair was on his lips.

Elliott's sitting on the couch in this picture.

Geroro coin tin! And another DS, but this time with a dog on it.

Handcuffs. Winking frog bag. Funky animal hat.

Scissors, scrapbook, more hairclips, and a bag of donuts.

I forgot to take a picture of the middle cubby. It has a lot of retro game systems in it. The problem is that the game systems are way too small for Elliott. :( So instead, you get a picture of the bottom cubby which has yet another jar of accessories. It also has a camera that I really like.

Yaaaaay~ That's it!

There's a coffee table for this set too, but the space is too small to include it. Which is too bad because the coffee table is darling! Ty and I were wondering if people would pay us to make doll rooms for them. Hrm. I don't know if they're that good? I think we do a pretty nice job on making rooms from random stuff we find. Most of the "furniture" was in the kitchen section of a store in TaiMall (in Taiwan).

We saw some MSD-sized lamps that held tea-lights, but we didn't buy them because... yanno. Fire hazard. Ty and I also spotted small contact containers that looked just like Asian lunchboxes. We were going to buy some but decided that it would be pointless if we had no food to put in them.

Making doll rooms is super fun! :D This new room is also kind of the living room since it has a couch. Elliott's going to hang out in there from now on. His room is too dark and gloomy.
