I'm only posting this one to show that my fodder for comics usually comes from real life. It helps to have kooky friends.

 

Anyway, this was done after a memorable lunch when Tanis decided to clean her backpack out, and pulled out an entire semester's worth of uneaten granola bars. It was pretty funny at the time ... so that started the "Hallmarks of Highschool" thing.

 

And there's Steph, trying to steal a granola bar almost as big as she is. I never actually decided if everyone else could see Steph, or if she was like the muse and existed only in "my" mind. The comic never got far enough for it to be an issue.
