This is the only story-related drawing I did of these two, to accompany a story called "Strange Endearment" which is posted here at my DeviantArt Page. Basically, in another story posted on my LJ account (Which is thayle.livejournal.com, if anyone is interested ... there are four or five such stories scattered around there), he gets a bit roughed up. Turns out he was a little more injured than he let on, but he couldn't fool his sharp-eyed partner for very long.

 

Nikki also has the bedside manner of a drunken maenad.
