One of the cute things I had in mind about the questionable friendship of Kenny and Nessus was that it grew out of trying to beat each other senseless on a regular basis. Eventually, they both just got too good at it and wound up fighting to exhaustion, then sitting around and drinking for a while. Note again the hiking shorts.

 

The same thing is still used in the current plan for Huntress, but with a little more plot-weight to it. Adding plot makes everything better.
