This is actualy one of the first strips I came up with.

 

I always wondered how a character in comics like Garfield or Dilbert would react going from a world that is largly black and white, like their strips are during the week(or were before a lot of them started going to color full time online)  to color strips on Sundays.  Even strips like Pearls Before Swine,which often breaks the fourth wall, never (as far as I know) mention that.

 

Would they be suprised, like Dorthy was in Wizard Of Oz, or would they freak out like Jim is?  In this case, we know the answer, but it would be interesting to see how other characters would react.
