The End!: Here's a confession... when I first conceived of this story it was meant to have an actual resolution to the conflict between the oldies and the young ones - only problem was I had no idea what that resolution was going to ultimately be. Every scenario I experimented with on the drawing board seemed silly or contrived. I figured that, if I took a short break from the story when I got to page 18, I'd come up with something - but never did.

As it turned out though, this page really was the ideal end to the story - Willow's anger at the intractable situation says it all. I know that readers, at the time the story ran, felt that it was abrupt but the more I review this story the more I'm convinced this is where it really needed to finish. As such, I've made a minor adjustment to the art of page (after more than 20 months!) and added the words "THE END!" to the last panel... just to confirm it is in fact the last page.
