Dear Reader, Hello and Greetings for 2006! This marks the return of 'Sevenplains' online. Formerly on http://Girlamatic.com, Sevenplains was taken off that site in June 2005 due to a mix of technical difficulties and changes in my work schedule. Needless to say, it's a great relief to be back on the net. I hope old and new readers will return as I begin updating all new pages. A note: This incarnation of Sevenplains begins with Chapter 3. That's because the story only really starts around Chapter 3, and the previous pages are largely irrelevant to the current plot. When I started I didn't have a clue what I was doing. But now, well- if this were a Sherlock Holmes story, we're in the part where Sherlock's sifted through the ashes a bit and is now making a list of suspects. In short, we've only just begun. Someday I'll post those Chapters 1 and 2because I love seeing stories and art styles change over time (hopefully for the better). PREVIOUSLY: Loop, a rich but naive tourist in North Africa, is saved from a pickpocket by a mysterious traveller who calls himself Enrique. Loop finds himself attracted to the boy and offers him eployment as his steward throughout the trip. Enrique agrees. Both of them arrive in the city of Ztaka, where Loop intends to visit his uncle, Ben Kalish Ezab. But little do they know that Enrique's brother has hired assasins to ambush them on the way to Ben Kalish's house.

 

Previously: Loop Garrote, a naive dilettante traveller, encounters a mysterious "boy" (actually a girl in disguise) named Enrique. After Enrique saves Loop from a pickpocket, Loop offers 'him' a job as a guide through the often dangerous cities he travels through. Enrique accepts, and together they board a train to the city of Ztaka, home to Loop's uncle. Tired and mindful only of a warm bed and hot food, neither is aware that they're about to be ambushed by assassins hired by Enrique's brother, Antipater.
