Sometimes I have no option but to voice my feelings blatantly and directly in this guy's voice. Other times it may be more multi-layered and contradictory, but not here. Especially the bit about S. Waterston.
I hate paralleling or comparing my own suffering to those of people on this planet who have really suffered. People in destitute nations, blacks in the south of this nation 75 years ago, etc., and I know I should be realistic, but there are times when you realize why these powerful expressions of agony and hope resonate. Because in the thick of life and consciousness, every battle seems dire.
I like this one. I have a deep respect for religion, and those that devote their lives to it.
What I despise is the self-righteousness that goes with the vocal, evangelical, proselytizing, world-dominating set. I HATE YOU FUCKERS.proselytize
A religion without humility is ego driven, and yes, of the devil. I will debate you fuckers, and mow you down.
