Absent was originally self-published by Sweatdrop Studios in 2004.

Since it first came about there have been several questions put forth by curious Readers on what exactly Absent is about. However my answer would only be one of many Possible Stories, and I feel that each gentle Reader, upon reading Absent, may come up with an even better Possible Story than the one I had in mind.
