Starting today and for the next few weeks or so I'm only posting one page on Tuesdays. I know, I know, but it's for a good reason. I've been working on finishing up a pitch for another story that will be sent out to publishers. I wanted to have it done this month but I've just been too busy and doing two NB pages per week is cutting into that. Additionally it's an excuse for me to take a small break from Nothing Better and work on something a bit different because I really need it. This other story has a totally different feel. I also need to complete a couple of guest comics! I'll be posting pages from the pitch as I finish them over on my LiveJournal. I've already got 4 done out of 17 - HERE is a good place to start. I should have 3 more up by the end of the week. When I'm done finishing up those pages, Nothing Better will go back to Tuesdays and Fridays. I had originally planned to go back to two updates a week after the holidays. As one astute reader pointed out to me, it's now February. While I'm more or less caught up from the hustle and bustle of the holidays, I've decided to let the current chapter, 11, finish up at one page a week - that puts us at the end of February. Then Chapter 12, the last chapter in Vol. 2, will go back to running twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. That will put us in the middle of June - right around the time our baby is expected! Then I'll run several weeks of guest comics and return with Vol. 3! All of this is designed to give me time to finish outlining and writing Vol. 3, plus deal with all of the baby prep that needs to be done before our little girl arrives in June. So there you go.
