on hold for now.

Good things come to those who wait?
Thank you for all of your kind emails during my reformatting!
The Lions of Valletta is starting again and will update weekdays instead of just 3 days a week. Tell me what you think in the Forum!

"You're searching, Joe, for things that don't exist; I mean beginnings. Ends and beginnings -- there are no such things. There are only middles."
-Robert Frost

"There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. That will be the beginning."
--Louis L'Amour

I know, I know! You're thinking, gee Ursula, get it together would you?
I've changed Lions to 3 days a week to stave off an impending dead space. Better to update a little less often than to leave a week without story, right?

I'll try make it up to you folks by posting daily sketches in the blog and new side stories as I finish them. The end of the semester is hitting a little bumpily and I want to make sure that I can get in enough work so that grocery shopping can happen once in a while.

Feel free to vent ire in the forum, or just say 'peep' if you're reading.

Thank you, Ursula.

If only someone else could paint what I see, it would be marvellous, because then I wouldn't have to paint at all.
--Alberto Giacometti

Effort only fully releases its reward after a person refuses to quit.
--Napoleon Hill

More information about Carravagio and his painting 'The Beheading of St.John the Baptist'.

The Beheading of St.John the Baptist is located in St.John's Co-Cathedral in Valletta.
I would like credit for not punting and using The Martyrdom of Saint Ursula, just for the sake of my own amusement.

My friend had me read your cartoon. Said it reminded her of me. My husband and I rescue animals all the time. My heart breaks for these supposed "pets" that are treated no better than yesterdays trash. My oldest was 28 and youngest was 3 weeks. I live near 2 military bases and unfortunately most of these "families" leave there pets in an empty house and go off to their new stations. To me that is like leaving your child!!! My children are grown so I guess now these are my babies. I don't tell people that they are "my cats". I tell them that I am their pet. They all selected me somehow. They wind up on my porch, I start feeding them, taming them, try to find them a good new home and if I can't, we just scoot over and make room for another. I wouldn't have it any other way!

Thanks for listening, looking forward to more Lions!!!

Lynn
