My friend Joel is in the summer class that I'm taking. He's drawing a pack of wild squirrels taking down a deer for his final project. (I'll post my story later... it's too weird to describe.) We debated the various merits of other hoofed creatures and I was a big supporter of the whole, Moose v/s (pack of rabid) Squirrel(s) idea. Hey, I grew up on Bullwinkle!

He didn't go for it; even though I quickly drew this unlikely pair on the back of a comic board to convince him.

Rats. Still, knowing that one can hammer out a reasonable looking moose on the fly without reference has got to be worth something, right? ... right.
