Well, it's finally the new year and I've finally updated this comic!! I'll bet everyone who read this thought I'd never update it or forgot about it, but nope! I'm still going to update it as much as I can.
Anyway, about todays page, I did some experimenting by using a gradient tool on this other art program I have. I've always been using MS Paint, and I still do to outline and clean up my images, (which slows me down a lot, but it lets me get into the details), but I also have this other art program called Paint.net, and it's sort of like Photoshop, but it doesn't have as many options or tools. So I used this program's gradient tool on the white tiles and on some of their clothes, because I really like how it looks.
Also, I'm going to be trying a new technique in how I draw my comic. At first I wanted to just draw images and then put them together on one page, but it became difficult to fit everything together and before I knew it the comic pages were just getting bigger and bigger. So now I'm drawing everything on 5x7" boxes so I have more control over what gets drawn. And so far it's doing well, because I get to draw backgrounds in there too.
Hope everyone had a wonderful and safe New Year! Oh, and don't be mad at David just yet, he'll be explaining his reasoning in the page after the next.
